Hello my name is Raymond Amoah and am a very polite and organised, person.I am the founder of two business Rayman Photos (Photography) and 1 Take Films (Videographer) which makes be really proud t have two media business.I created my own Photography website with all of my best work since 2010.I ateend a gym twice a week to keep fit, out of my subject i love Photography the best because it allowed me to show of my skills and do something to the best of my ablitiy that i love doing. I am visual learner so if their task invloving pracitical task it sticks in my head much quicker.

12 Facts about Eadweard Muybridge

Eadweard Muybridge is a english photographer who spent much of his life in the United States.Muybridge is best known for his seminal work Animal locomotion. He used multiple cameras to capture motion, his  images where viewed zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting motion pictures that pre-dated the flexible perforated film strip.


Muybride took photography seriously sometime between 1861 and 1866, where he learned the wet-collodion process.He changed his name seven times.

1.Eadweard Muybridge was a English Photography who spent most of his time life working in California.
2.He changed his name more than his facial hair.
3.He was accussed of murdering hs wife's lover.
4.H created two panoramas of San Francisco, one seveteen foot long.
5.He birth name was Edward but he changed his name to Eadweard because of the Spanish on Californian place names.
6. He put his son in a Orphange because he didnt believe it was his son.
 7.He is known for his animal locomotion in 1877 and 1878.
8.he was commissioned by the United States Army to photograph the Modoc war in 1873.
9.He died on April 8, 1904 in Kingston upon Thames.
10.He placed numerous large glass-plate cameras in a line along the edge of the track; the shutter of each was triggered by a thread as the horse passed.
11.Two of Muybridge popular books where Animal in Motion and The Human Figure in Motion.
12.Muybridge beleived that Horses can fly so he created a study called Salie Gardner at a Gallop.

Music Video Evaluation

Making my music video was pretty hard because of the people I was working with weren't dedicated .I started of with a group me Tevin,Nada and Aisha we had are first meeting to find out what was everyone ideas.We decided to a video parody with a mixture of different songs in one video, we was planning to shoot  around college.In due course we kept having meetings after college then we decided to start shooting, because people in my group didn't turn to the shoot.I had take make a quick decision and do the music video just with Tevin.It was hard transition because i had to come up we a completly new idea which was very hard. I had to chose to do a music video with a music video for Tevin who is an artist outside of college because am fund of his music.We had to start again so we started of with a brainstorm, the theme we wanted to go with  the classic romance story by William Shakesphere Romeo and Juilet.My other idea was making a music video with my film noir which related to the song.Due to the fact that two members of team decided not to come to be involve i had to take many roles as the editor,cameraman,dop,and editor  The feedback I got from my peers was really positive.If I had a chance to re-shoot my video I would of improve the storyline of the video and do something and smart.The audience was confused by the message of the song so it was confusing watching the video and listening to the song and the same time and connecting the two together.Also I should of recorded more performing shoots and spent more time planning out the whole thing.The process of editing to awhile due to my editing software lagging and editing blanks.I did plan to mix a movie I done (film Noir) with my music video to make my video stand out and also thought it was a good idea because their both related to each other in a way.Production wise I should of used a reflector to bounce light back into the subject face.

CWC Ident Evaluation

Working with Sheniz and Alexander and Jordan in this class project was really easy because i have worked with them in the past. Me and my group decided to use clay animation for our ident because we were familiar with using Clay.In my group I filmed and edited the first half which was the intro of the students walking into college.The feedback we got from are peers were really positive.My team work was really different from the rest of the class, because we mixed humans with morph which turned out to be really fun.What i would of done better if i had a chance to do it again i would improve the transition from the humans to the morphs and make it smoother.If I had a chance to improve I would cut out the bit when the Morph is swearing at he audience because its not appropriate for a cwc ident.Also it would give the college a bad image.The second improvement I can make is the transition between the humans and Morph, in the video you cant see the student placing the Costa cup on the table.Next i would focus manly on the ident and forget the humans.

My teacher Lucy Reese has suggested that I get in touch with you to ask if it might be possible to do some work experience with you.

I’m currently doing a BTEC National Diploma in Creative Media Production at City of Westminster College. I’ve learnt about cameras, sound, animation, editing and how the media industry works. I’m really enjoying the course and hope to go to university at the end of it.

As Lucy has already explained to you, my real passion is photography. I’ve been taking pictures since I was 14 (I’m now 17) and absolutely love it. It is my goal to become a professional photographer and I already have my own company – Rayman Photos. I take pictures of family events, graduations and school proms and have also done some studio work with a model from Premier Agency.

It would be brilliant if I could join you on some shoots and work as your assistant. I’ve had a look at your pictures and think they are great – especially the landscapes and the news photos. I would be interested to lean new techniques from you and would be really happy if you could find the time to teach me how to be a better photographer.
