12 Facts about Eadweard Muybridge




Eadweard Muybridge is a english photographer who spent much of his life in the United States.Muybridge is best known for his seminal work Animal locomotion. He used multiple cameras to capture motion, his  images where viewed zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting motion pictures that pre-dated the flexible perforated film strip.


Muybride took photography seriously sometime between 1861 and 1866, where he learned the wet-collodion process.He changed his name seven times.

1.Eadweard Muybridge was a English Photography who spent most of his time life working in California.
2.He changed his name more than his facial hair.
3.He was accussed of murdering hs wife's lover.
4.H created two panoramas of San Francisco, one seveteen foot long.
5.He birth name was Edward but he changed his name to Eadweard because of the Spanish on Californian place names.
6. He put his son in a Orphange because he didnt believe it was his son.
 7.He is known for his animal locomotion in 1877 and 1878.
8.he was commissioned by the United States Army to photograph the Modoc war in 1873.
9.He died on April 8, 1904 in Kingston upon Thames.
10.He placed numerous large glass-plate cameras in a line along the edge of the track; the shutter of each was triggered by a thread as the horse passed.
